Sharron's Blog: My Resurrection Story! 2019
In honor of this sacred holiday: "Resurrection day", on Good Friday one of the feral cats, Zena ...who birthed 5 kittens 2 weeks old, eyes just beginning to open. Jacob and Elena heard kittens crying outside their bedroom, during early morning - still dark and rainy. Jacob, our hero, even though sick, got all five kittens but one of two little orange tabbies escaped his grasp. One minute it was there in his hands then gone! They were under a riding lawnmower with tarp over it. He said: "I think one is dead" then went to seek last orange tabby but could not find it.
I picked up the dead kitten, no signs of breathing, tongue sticking out, very limp, and whispered my desire to the Lord to help Zena's baby and started compressions on it's little chest. It gasp for breath, but no breathing. Its lungs were blocked by water, covered in leaves, wet, had released its bowels... terrible for a newborn!
Elena asked me to breath into it's mouth (breath of life) so I did a couple of blows, breathed for it, more compressions (we were NOT giving up on this one) and it suddenly started crying in a panic sort of way.
Elena went to work, and I kept kitty on my heart, and continued giving breaths of life. Some 10 minutes or more, after innumerable breaths, it started breathing on its own and noisy breathing stopped and it curled up and slept... ALIVE!
It's completely normal now, but I thought: if God heard that prayer for a little kitten, what more will he do for us and our spiritually dead loved ones? What an awesome God we serve! Never give up on them, pray without ceasing, and He will come through all ...in His timing. While I in no way knew what to do to help this little creature, He directed our steps.

12¶Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
15¶If ye love me, keep my commandments.
